Default Bringing pets to uk

We are returning to UK from Canada and want to bring pets with us.
I know we have to have a UK customs agent and PetAir are offering this service.
Has anyone had experience with PetAir?
Or can anyone recommend any other firms that can do this ?

We returned to the UK from Canada in April last year. We used Worldwide Animal Travel to bring our excitable Jack Russell back. They were excellent and I highly recommend using a company as they are experts on the paperwork and process which takes a big part of the stress away from you. They have offices in Vancouver and Toronto. We used the Vancouver office which is literally opposite the airport. Our dog was totally fine and we wasted a lot of time worrying about her 🐾☺️

Would you mind saying the cost for your pet transport?

(I'd read somewhere else that it's a LOT cheaper to get pets shipped into France and then do a channel crossing on a ferry to retrieve them. But it would have to be stupidly expensive to ship direct to UK to make that worthwhile! 😅
I presume this has something to do with rabies/quarantine but haven't investigated yet)

It was just under $3,000 including tax and including crate. She is a tall Jack Russell if that helps for size!
