I laughed at the news report too - it had the caption "British Whinge" over a picture of Blackpool during a spring gale. I'd agree with him in as far as saying Bondi sucks - it's like the Aussie equivalent of Margate. That said nothing - absolutely nothing on earth is as depressing as a British seaside town in any season other than summer.
