Awful for the family, and for all those witnesses. Hits home more I think when it's somewhere you've been visiting since you were a kid.

Wonder what they meant by neither of the people involved were visitors....? Sounds like maybe the drivers son...?:(

I don't remember there being steamrollers to ride on so possibly something like that, yes. First weekend of the school holidays so I suppose there would have been more of the vehicles out and more helpers.
