Default Anyone gone back on a spouse Visa?

Hi guys

I know most of you are couples or families that have emmigrated here and so it's easy for you to go back, but our situation is a Brit born Hubby and an Oz born wife, and from what I can glean from the Visa site it seems we need a UK address "that is for you and your families sole use and occupation" - does this mean Hubby will have to go first, get a job and a flat, before I can apply for my Visa? Or do you think we could get away with a relative's address?

Has anyone any experience with this?

thanks!!

Already asked and answered at:

Presumably your British born husband is also an Australian citizen? (if not, there will be Australian visa issues long term)

Yes I did ask in the thread (I thread hijacked it) I just thought if I asked the actual question in title I might have more luck.

I did follow your link to the immigration boards, but there wasn't anything specific I could find. Most people seem to have somewhere to go set up first.

and yes he is an Aust citizen as well

Did you not ask the question specifically? There are people there who know the Immigration Rules a lot better than me (or others on this forum). And the Rules do not insist that someone is already living in the UK in order to sponsor.
