Hiya,
So one option for us moving back is to apply for a position for our two small kids in a voluntary aided school (Catholic). One would start in reception and the other in year one or two depending on the age cut off.
Both our kids have been baptized catholic which is great as the Catholic schools often put Catholics on the top of the list.
Does anyone have any experience with the application process? Is it the same as regular schools? Do you have to still go through the local area authority or country council? Do they seem to have the same regulations about residency and having a local address before you apply? Any other thoughts?
The reason I am asking is that we are trying to nail down our approximate arrival dates for moving back and which time of year etc. and we have a possible school that might work for our kids.
Just curious. Thanks!
