Another one going back
#1
I came out here to Perth October 20th. 3 Years ago. Roughly around the same time as Pollyana and Cresta57.
I came out here with my husband of whome i have been married to for 25 years this year, my youngest daughter and my dog.
We came out to live the dream, to start a business and have a better life.
3 years on, I am going back to the UK......... with the dog!
We have finally got a buyer for the business and that will be completed in October, then hopefully I will be back a couple of weeks later.
I have had many doubts about going back, I suppose wondering what life has in store for me being alone, but now that things are in order I am feeling quite positive about it all.
There are many things i could say about Australia, good and bad, the same as I could about the Uk, but it has all been said before and doesn't need to be said again.
Just wanted to let those who know me from the times of waiting for Visas etc, that I am on my way back to blighty soon.

I think we're here for the duration now, I'm settled and enjoy what we have here, funny thing is I was just as settled in the U.K. Strange how life pans out, I came to spend time with my Dad as we thought he was terminally ill, he beat it and Mums dragging him back to the U.K albeit very slowly on the boat.
Are you heading back to Lincolnshire or trying somewhere new?
Good luck all the best, keep us posted on how you settle in.

Thanks all for the good wishes.
Yes just me and the dog but the horse went back to the Uk in May. He is loving it already.
There is a lot of water gone under the bridge since then. I feel as though i have been in some sort of a nightmare these past 3 years and that has had nothing with being in Australia, only my circumstances.
I am too now looking forward to my future in the UK and will look with as much positivity as I can.
