Am i entitled to NHS care as soon as i return to the UK?
Hi all, i am moving back to Engalnd after living in portugal for 3 years. I will be getting a job on a contract in the UK (i had worked for afew yrs before i moved out here too). Will i be able to use the NHS even tho ive not lived in england for 3yrs?

Yes once to are moved back you go and sign back up with the GP.

You are allowed to use the NHS as soon as you return. The general criteria for people is that they must be returning to settle and not just "passing through" to take advantage of the medical system.
