Well after consulting calendar only 5 weeks on saturday until xmas day :scared:

Anybody else living in hope that M&S will get mince pies in stock before the day  They had xmas cakes in today if anybody interested - not many though so thought I'd pass on the info - nod nod ;) ;)

well.... dunno if it'd be of any help, but I was down at Choitrams by Safa Park this PM.... they had their mince pies out..... I am certain that they are no where near as good as the ones that M&S will eventually stock up on, but there is no harm in buying urself a box to get u in the mood..... and plus i think they were quite cheap aswell.

Oh no, don't want to be doing that :( We're going to country club this year but only because its child friendly (not really my cup of tea but drinks included with meal :D  ) and anything to keep "fairy in training" happy!! Went to a hotel last year and it was really nice - santa arrived via dhow and distributed pressies and sweets - (Mina a Salam) but best with a group of people FD

Well it seems as though some of my wisdom is finally rubbing off on u! hahaha

Dubai Park Hotel, Hilton Dubai Creek and The Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina, The Royal Meridien and The Sheraton Hotel and Towers are some of the paces that traditionally have excellent Christmas Dinners.

But TS is right......literally every one of Dubai's 450+ hotels will have Christmas Dinner specials...... so take ur pick! :)

The shopping malls will go for all the decorations and stuff, but somehow it's just not the same, going Christmas shopping without ending up with a frostbitten nose!!!

What ever happened to the good fashioned way of Christmas .... Kids up first, coffee and cooked breakfast, whilst the the turkey cooks, open pressies, the house full of laughter and the smell of dinner cooking. Wash up, and sit down to relax with the family and enjoy the rest of the day .... At home! :D :D

Yeah I know, taking the lazy option this year.

Will still be up at the crack of dawn no doubt, screaming kids, cooked brekkie, although I prefer home cooked ham and scrambled eggs. Then pressie opening, eat out, afternoon walk with dogs, home, eat drink some more, feet up playing kiddies games or putting more toys together
