Default Working as an Architectural Technologist/ Technician in Dubai.....

Hi guys just discovered this site. I wondered if anyone on here could help me out. I am working towards full chartered status with the CIAT as an Architectural Technologist, having graduated with a BSc(Hons) Architectural Technology. I have 2 and a half years experience working in an architectural practice mainly on residential projects; one off contemporary dwellings to large scale flatted developments. My technical detailing skills are of a high standard. I have also experience on commercial and healthcare developments, but to a lesser extent. In saying that I do have a good grasp of building construction and how components go together no matter what the project is.
I just basically wondered what my changes would be of obtaining employment in Dubai? Here in Northern Ireland things are really bad so I was particularly interested in moving out there.
I have 2 years experience working with Microstation and have of course used autocad for 4 years also.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Happy New Year!

Hi Gully and welcome to BE, not an industry I am familiar with but I think you are better of looking at Abu Dhabi than Dubai, or even Qatar for that matter
