Default Worker Protest?

Just heard it on the radio as I drove home.

News said there were over 4,000 workers at some construction project, peacefully protesting over their salaries.

Even had a short interview with a police officer who stressed that the protest was peaceful and that negotiations were going forward to settle the salary dispute.

That's about all they said.

Anyone heard or read anything more?

Has this happened before?

U.

Happens all the time , i'v had water cannon , automatic weapons and tear gas all turn up on site to control workers from the authorities.........

and that's because we changed the type of rice for the mess halls....God knows what they would have done if we never paid the men...!
