look in the back section of magazines like Inside Out....there's little adds from companies that do wood flooring...

we have dark wood laminate put in our villa downstairs and it makes a world of difference to the place...I just cannot stand those horrible tiled floors...

Are you talking about installing a new wooden floor or repairing a damaged one?

what is inside out magazine? I'm considering closing off my balcony with glass and using the sliding door that currently leads out to it for that. I'm assuming this should be cheaply done but don't know anyone that would be able to. Thanks.

InStep is a big company here 04 285 5996

I have never used wooden flooring in any of my fitouts - very passe IMO. you need to think about your living space and what you want from it and the overall feel. ethnic looks are popular here and wooden flooring will not work with it. you can get some great quality tiles here and they prove much cleaner for this climate. if you do decide to go ahead with it ask to see some samples of their work
