where is good to go out in dubai

hi everyone

i moved to dubai at the beginning of jan and still trying to find my way around.

just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for nights out?

There's pretty much something for everyone. What do you like/want to do on a night out? What kind of places float your boat - glitz and glamour, middle of the road, spit n'sawdust? How old are you?

Buy the Timeout magazine. There are plenty of ladies nights/restaurant/bar listings as well as sporting activities/group meet up etc. Have a look at the socialcircle web page and also Meetup dubai.
Lots of things for all types and budgets.

im 28, like live music, dancing, a bit of glitz and glamour wouldnt go a miss but its not essential

im missing my old hangouts in london so trying to find a few new one here

There's plenty of concerts on the horizon some a bit odd but worth a look. If someone offers take you up the Gary Glitter, it's not a nightclub by the way.

Perhapos a cup of cocoa, a game of dominos and some fellowhip at the Mission for Distressed British Mariners ? On secon thoughts they probably closed that when our Merchant Fleet disappeared.
