Hi, been in Doha for 3 weeks, previously in Riyadh and Dubai. Where do all the Brits hang out in Doha. We don't have children so looking for something like an Irish pub.

Dunno but do tell when you find out, I've been here 3 months and seemingly managed to avoid them.

At home ?

Rugby club,golf club,any pub. The Sheraton has an Irish pub.
Everyone I've come across in Doha is really friendly as all in the same boat so am sure you won't have any problems in making friends.

The Radisson / Champions at The Marriott in the City Center .

There's a lot of high end nice places here but not many run of the mill ex pat watering holes where you can rock up for a few pints .

Plus you've been here for 3 weeks during Ramadan so it's deserted , give it a few weeks and it will fill up again .

Horizon Manor Hotel, first floor, happy hour 5-8pm, always a Brit crowd in there.

Oooh that's just a stagger down the street, might give it a spin.

You know it makes sense. Filipino band on after 9 too.

Wahm during happy hour is good for cheap bear
Paloma/Lava is good on ladies night for feeling like you are back home
Rugby club is great for very cheap beer and a casual bottling
Sports bar in the marriot is good for social gatherings
Admirals is great for forgetting your in Doha for a little bit
Kempinkski is nice and chilled but allways a good crowd
Strata is cracking for end of the night chilled out drinks but way overpriced
Crowne plaza is good for straight after beer drinks during happy hour
Sports bar in Raddison is good for meetings/drinking

Each to there own mate but i find irish bar and belgian lacking any atmosphere at all

Agree with Kix on the horizon manor. Go there when fairly inebriated and you will have a cracking time
