Hi All,

I'm landing on the 27th of September working as General Manager of company in JAFZE

Having had some help on where to live I now need to know where to get a 4 x 4.

My company will fully expense either lease, purchase new or purchase old.

I have no idea of budget as my MD has to sign it off but I guess 120,000 AED max?

What can I get and where should I go and what websites can I search before arrival?

do a search on Gulf News classifieds and also a garage called 4x4 but don't buy from them but it will give you an idea of prices. Personally I would just go for a brand new Pajero from Al Habtoor and be done with it.

Just pick one up from the airport car park,...there are plenty there with the keys inside..

I dumped my two in Abu Dhabi....cheaper parking and a slightly safer escape route

Thank you all I guess, some interesting ideas. On a slightly more serious note aren't there loads of second hand cars going cheap as I believe I'm swimming against the tide moving to Dubai for work!?

Yes, its pretty easy. Look at dubizzle or Gulf News Classified. Careful about buying anything off anyone that still has finance on their vehicle tho..
