What is a Full Expat Package?
I have been offered 4 weeks accommodation, business class flights to UK and 85% medical fees to be paid (unlimited upside). However they have tax adjusted my pay and no schooling subsidy is in place.
I grew up on oilfield ex pat packages where home country salary was paid and accommodation, medical, transport and schooling were fully met.
The modern package offered appears light to me - does any one have a view as to what an ex-pat package should cover?

ok - good basic salary, housing allowance, a car, mobile phone, medical insurance, school fees. Not everyone gets full school fees, we for example get 50% My husband in sales position so we get bonus etc, Depends on the industry alot.,

my husband has been offered full medical cover for all of us, acceptable monthly untaxed wages, 3/4 of yearly school fees, very generous allowence for accomodation, generous allowence for furniture to buy new, allowence for transport to work, allowence towards bills, return tickets to uk. we will all be out there by july 07 [ my husband will be there from may ] hope all goes ok for you.
