hm...New Romantic guys......nah, bit wet n drippy for my liking.

The Cure, Siouxie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, The Cult, much more my liking. Robert Smith, now there's a guy that wore lipstick that you wouldnt mind finding on your collar

haha - I used to know them - Martin Metcaff and Shirley - great band! Carlton Hill is a great track. Scottish bands at that time were the b*llocks. (sorry AA I don't mean the Proclaimers). Captain America, The Macenzies, The Shamen (pre Mr C), The Jesus And Mary Chain, Primal Scream, Teenage Fanclub...

Oddly now there seems to be the same rich vein of music from the old country, Franz Ferdinand, Paulo Nuttini, The Frattellis etc...
