I am thinking about moving to Qatar to pursue a business in used car industry, I don't know much about the sales and how easy or hard to form a new business's, so I am basically looking for some advice on the possibility of a opening a business in Qatar and is this kind of business going to be profitable, please give me ur outputs regarding this car industry or business in general, I am looking forward for your reply guys

A cheaper version is to sell second hand car parts, and you don’t have to worry about LHD/RHD. If you want your suppliers to be from the UK you can specialize in Rover cars for example.

If you have a reliable contact in Europe who can buy cars from auctions and export them to you then you can make good money from this business.
A cheaper version is to sell second hand car parts, and you don’t have to worry about LHD/RHD. If you want your suppliers to be from the UK you can specialize in Rover cars for example.

motorcycles are short life consumables, come in uni drive (LHD/RHD), and are in big demand in Qatar.
No one is interested in second hand land/range rovers because second hand ones don't work and cannot be repaired or maintained.
New cars (tax free) in Qatar are cheaper than second hand cars from auctions in Europe so I am not sure how that will work financially.

They're owned by Tata group (Indian) and in the UK are JLR (Jaguar Land Rover).
Rover are owned by the Chinese who make really cheap products usually for their home market.
If I recall there are no Rover factories in the UK.
