Unlocking the DVD player
I have a LG BP730 blue ray player bought in Dubai and it won't play region 3 dvds that I had from my time in Thailand, I wonder if there is a way to hack it, or would I need to visit the Dragon Market to buy a chinese made dvd player that would region free??

there doesn't appear to be a region hack for this player

You don't have to buy Chinese to get region free... both my Samsung and my Sony players either came region free, or were easily hackable (2 minutes on the internet, and 1 minute entering random commands on the remote control).
