UK Embassy Riyadh, Notarisation/Legalisation/Apostille of Licence
This is to convert a UK issued driving licence to a saudi one for my wife. I visited the the traffic office in Riyadh with the usual docs (translation, application form, med report etc.), which is what I used to get my Saudi licence. However the lady asked for an additional piece of paper that i didn't have.
My understanding is that they are after notarisation/legalisation of the licence as she mentioned that UK embassy in Riyadh can do this for me. But i am not what exactly is it that which service is it that i need to arrange the appointment for.
Tried calling the Embassy and found that the info. on the automated message was helpful (NOT) so was wondering what the process would be to get the above done.
Please advise.

AFAIK British embassies/consulates overseas no longer offer legalisations, it has to be done in the UK:

Usual procedure is to take original document to a UK solicitor, they make a photocopy of it, stamp it, and then you get the photocopy legalised. If you're looking for someone to carry out the whole process on your behalf - eg if you're abroad - then a company like this will do everything (I've used them a few times before when i was in Qatar and they were great)
