Hi, looking for advise. I have secured a job in Abu Dhabi and my husband and our baby will be sponsored for a residency visa by my employer. Unfortunately, my husband is under investigation and could be convicted and have a criminal record, it is a driving offence. Would it still be possible for my husband to move with me? Will UAE require a police certificate for my husband from the UK on residence visa application and renewal in the future? Thanks for the info in advanced.

In my case, no police certificate was required for me or spouse.

Usually no Police certificate, although it could depend on who the employer is and what questions / declarations they may ask during the process aside of the actual visa requirements.
