Hi All,
We will be moving to Riyadh soon and we want to understand typical cost of having a maid (live-in or live-out). We have 2 young kids and looking to live in a villa, so we would need a maid/nanny for cleaning and for looking after the kids. We have had good experience in ME with Phillipino nanny so would prefer to go with same nationality.
We are not looking to sponsor someone as we have heard that laws are very strict in KSA hence we would prefer to contract with a company.
Your kind inputs are highly appreciated.

Through agency you're looking at 2100-2600 with no upfronts, the range depending on how long you contract for and pay upfront. (Best price if you pay 24months upfront).

Sponsored you're looking at about 1100-1400 + one off fees of around 5k for African nation of 15k Phillipines.

I used Musaned which is the official gov platform. All agencies upload their available profiles on there and you can search by nationality and see short CV and pictures. Actually I remember now that when you go through the process on Musaned (once the agency confirms availability) it gave a list of options for medical insurance and you purchase it directly through Musaned.

I think the upfront fees include the first 2 years of insurance (from memory).

Thanks all, but this thread is nearly 2 years old, it only got bumped up by a spammer. I’m guessing the OP is sorted now so I’ll close the thread to avoid it being a target for other spammers.
