Transferring Visas?
Morning Bored!
I've jacked my job and signed a contract in Jafza. Wifes visa has expired, which means I need to renew it before we can register our daughters birth.
I am responsible for the costs on this which is fine, however my understanding is that after my current employer cancels my visa, my families all get automatically cancelled aswell, so I'd have to fork out the costs again in a couple of months time.
Is my understanding correct, or can I transfer my families visas from my old one to my new one - if that make sense. Would like to avoid paying twice if I can...
I'll be back on asking about housing locations in Dubai when my lease expires!

Re: Transferring Visas?
Oh, and if my final salary and EOS payment is less than the housing they fronted for me for the year, what happens? It's not likely to be an issue due to the length of my notice period, but thought crossed my mind, I guess I have to pay them and balance before they cancel the visa?

They can't cancel yours until they have cancelled all the ones underneath you. You'll have to renew Mrs Brains twice.
Famliy visas are not that expensive though. I pay for all of mine and it's only a couple of thousand from memory - The maid's is more.
