Things not to do in SYRIA!
When you visit Syria REMEMBER THESE THINGS WHICH ARE CONSIDERED AS "INSULTING":
-ENTERING MOSQUES WEARING SHOES . -IMMODESTLY DRESSING. - EXPOSING THE SOLES OF ONE'S FEET TOWARD A FACE OF SOMEONE . THESE BEHAVIOURS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR SOME REASON. REMEMBER ALSO NOT TO EXPRESS DISRESPECT FOR ISLAM. |

C'mon Syria (except Damascus Airport) is absolutely fine and welcoming - there is no need for pre planned o.t.t . excessive patronising politeness. It is more relaxed than UAE. The people are nice and the beer is adequate...
