If you do it publicly, you might be the most interesting thing happening this weekend....
Have you considered knocking yourself unconcious? Overloading on any handy household drugs? Setting fire to a waste skip?
Amateur household elctrical work whilst standing in a pool of water? Another thing to consider might be to throw your T.V. out of a window.
All of these options, one way or another might brighten an otherwise dull ramadan weekend in Dohell.

Well I need to go and get a driving licence and find somewhere nice to live - feel free to help me. In this heat it will be like a sporting event! lol

Apparently anywhere after the fast breaks but not during the day. I had breakky at the renaissance last saturday morning - that was nice.

Hotels are serving food during the day, including poolside at the (Old) Intercon. Is all a bit lame though, esp the non-alcoholic beer

I spent all weekend moving and shopping for stuff for the villa I have moved into. Did so many tos and fros to Carrefour (you know the usual - bought tea bags, but forgot sugar thing..).

Anyway, my RP is still in the process, the PRO is on holidays so cant go for fingerprinting. Will therefore be getting a temporary driving license until after Eid.

I still havent been to get my temp licence. I'm just not comfortable going on my own and dealing with all the getting fixers and stuff in arabic bobbins

I have been told its very easy. Will be going there tonight around 9ish. Want to tag along? I can speak Hindi/Urdu so hoping it comes handy with wasta-type bobbins

Thanks very much - I'm going to have to leave it until Tuesday as I'm busy the next two nights. When i say busy - i shall be trying to work tonight and not end spending all my time watching the Olympics and posting on forums!
