Yes, from Bournemouth. Seems to be a big community of us here!!
Only asked because a very good friend of mine had a large school teaching JKD, muay thai and also kali. Bourne identity and supremacy did a great job of advertising Asian martial arts over far eastern MA!! Bumped into about 4 people i know from Bournemouth out here in Dubai. If your a regular of Klute,Bliss,Elements,Westbeach,176, etc you probably know them small world we live in !! Have been alot less active of late and got out of shape a bit...would love to carry it on...went to "War on the shore 2" a few weeks ago which had a title TKB fight and really got into it, but i dont have the time to dedicate to training anymore which is a massive shame. You tend to get alot of W****** out here, and i really have to hold back and wind my neck in as its too easy to end up in jail out here!! Hopefully things here will stabilize and i can get back into training !! |

I love Kali much more than anything else...alot less aerobic but really hones co-ordination and i use alot of the other techniques for un-winding.

Funny, there is a doorman here from Bmth, you may know, who I brought out here from the JKD school in Bmth. I am more of the Zoo/Cage era I'm embarrassed to admit, but do get back quite often and get dragged around town by wayward mates, usually ending up in FYEO !!! |

I have a beautiful tiger on my shoulder blade. I have had it for 15 years - they weren't fashionable then.

Well they are certainly more popular. Loads of girls/women have tattoos now, although many are horrid IMO. |
