Sur, Oman-Liquor Store?
Hi everyone, does anyone know whether there is a liquor store in Sur, Oman? Thanks in advance for any help.

As far as I’m aware there are no liquor stores in Sur. However, you could try calling oua and asking them

On a couple of occasions we got talking to other couples in our local A&E liquor store and they had travelled up from Sur so it’s quite possible that this is what you will have to do. From the oua website it would appear that you have to apply for your licence in Muscat or Salalah

It’s been a while but we have stayed at The Sur Plaza Hotel and they served alcohol. It’s managed by Aiken Spence (Sri Lankan company) and, having bumped into one of the chefs and chatting to him, we were able to have a couple of very, very good curries when we stayed
