Okay people..... This poll was inspired by Lakes Lassie and I think it is a fun poll. Which is better? Shawarmas or fish 'n' chips? I vote for Shawarmas.... wot do u think?

I prefer shawarma especially chicken one. Fish and Chips is fine for a change. But not too often. To me food in the UK just far tooooo tasteless...

tough one that...but then as there aren't any ME places around here...would have to go for fish and chips, but there not the same over here, chips are always thin fries, and no cod...but back in blighty, there was an awesome lebanese place in Oxford, did the best food, everything was great, even the hummous, which I normally don't like...and loved the chicken or lamb shawarma's....

Going to have to sit on the fence here as they're both great. Fish 'n chips can be awsome, but wouldn't want it that often. Could eat shawarma any time!

You can combine both if you go just past Marks and spencers. There is a restaurant there that does fish shawarmas- but only in the evenings. Hard to eat but they taste good.
