We went there yesterday. Dead easy to find - as Confucius said, follow SZR until you pass Al Safeer Mall on your right, go under the bridge and then immediately take the exit so you go up and over the bridge. Then just keep going straight (you'll see the ferris wheel of Al Qasba on your left) until you hit the roundabout, where you go left.

As is typical in Sharjah, there are no signs for it anywhere, except shortly before the roundabout, by which time you're only about 30 seconds away anyway.

They've only got one small car park open at the moment, so don't be surprised if it takes you a while to find a space; we were there at 4pm on a Wednesday and it was starting to get busy.

The aquarium itself is currently free to enter (for the first month, apparently). It's pretty well done, but it's also smaller than we expected, and you can get through in about 20 minutes. Sea World it ain't, and I have to say it probably isn't worth a special trip, but if you're in the area, give it a go.

TBH, as far as fish go, you can see everything they've got by snorkelling off the beach at Dibba.

The advertising suggests they've got big sharks too, but in fact they've only got very small blacktip reef sharks, less than two feet long.
