Greetings all.
What's the deal with co-habitation in Dubai vs UAE. I read a quote from an official as below from March 06:
Mohammad Yousuf, Deputy Director of the Dubai Courts Department, said while the Federal punitive law is implemented in the UAE, the situation is different in Dubai. The Tawajed or Tahseen Al Ma'asiya clause, he said, is not implemented in Dubai.

Never heard of any Westerners ever getting into trouble for co-habiting.
From what I've read elsewhere, the expat group most at risk of falling foul of the co-habitation laws seems to be Filipinos.
