Default Selling Car - Advice

Our residency is in Dubai but we have been living in Al Ain. We are now leaving UAE and need to sell our cars. Obviously we are advertising here in Al Ain. Dies anyone know what the procedure is for transferring the Registration etc. I have heard that we need to cancel the registration in Dubai and then register the car here as it must be registered in the emirate where the owner has residency?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

if you need to reclaim insurance make sure you take a photocopy of the new owner's registration card. Otherwise you will need to get a certificate from the RTA which will cost you 80-90 dhs including typing fees.

when you register a vehicle it has to have 13 months insurance with you so technically you can't transfer. Sad to hear your leaving
