Default Saudi 6 Month Visa (Non Resident)

Guys,

Im heading from Kuwait to Saudi at the end of the week and have a lil query re: my visa.

Issued - 3rd Sept 2008. Im due to leave 4th Mar 2009. As far as I can work out, it means that Ill have to leave a day earlier than planned. Some of my Saudi colleagues, however, are telling me that its 6 x 4 weeks, so its actually expired.

Dont really want to spend hours at the casueway arguing over the validity of the visa, so can someone confirm which one is right?

It's the Arabic date that counts, so that's six months of only 29 or 30 days - less than six of "our" months............

Work out the Arabic equivalent of 3 Sept 08, and take the six-month date from then. This one's easy - 3 Sept was 3 Ramadan, so I reckon it expires on 3rd of Rabi Al-Awaal (which is six months after Ramadan), which I'm sorry to say will be 28 February............

............... oh dear..................

Ah bugger... Only 7 days instead of the fun-packed ten days I was soooo looking forward to in the Magic Kingdom???

O lack-a-day, oh woe is me......
