Default Saudi 180 day multi entry visa renewals

Hi All,

I am new to this forum so please be gentle with me! I did search for the answer to my question but couldn't find anything relevant in any threads. My question is fairly simple (I hope).

I am a UK citizen living and working in Riyadh on a 180 day multi entry business visa. I do not yet seem to have the possibility of getting an iqama, so I would like to know how many consecutive 180 day visas can I get? I have seen on this forum that you can get 30 days on top of your 180 if you return to KSA at the 176-178 day mark, but I am looking at potentially 3, 4 or even more consecutive 180 day visas.

Is this possible?

In case you are wondering, I understand that can't get an iqama until my company has a permanent presence here and that may take a couple of years to achieve.

Thanks in anticipation.

I've been coming and going on 90 day visas for three years.

They occasionally get aresey and only issue singles which are no good. Been fine lately though. I reside in Abu Dhabi though which may be alittle different.

Thanks. I was recently told that if you are found to be living in Saudi and working full time on a multi entry visa, you or your employer will be fined 100,000SAR. Does anyone have experience of this actually being enforced or applied?

Working on a business visa has always been illegal but noises have been made recently about the Ministry of the Interior getting tough. Better to be on a legit Iqama (ie work and residence permit).

With an Iqama you can still have a multiple exit re-entry visa. The title of the thgread suggests that only with the BUSIUNESS VISA can you have the multiple exit. Nowadsys any decent employer gives employees an iqama with multiple exit. (unless that employee is unfortunate enough to be form the "Third World")

Thanks Scot, that would be our preferred option too but my employer can't see its way to create an in country presence for cost reasons.

Have you seen my other post entitled Employee or Consultant? Your other posts suggest you know what you are talking about (unlike many contributors), if you don't mind me saying so.
