experienced my first sand storm of Riyadh today.......

How was it? A bad one? One of my guys was getting quite excitable on the BBM.

It was a bad but that's what expected in a storm.....isn't it
but it was a good experience and people here told me that its just the beginning as these storms are very common during summer here

it was like monsoon season in Jubail yesterday...no sandstorm but constant rain, thunder and lightning...i was hoping to see a flare stack get hit but zero luck

This was taken a few years back, looking north from kingdom tower between Olaya and King Fahad. A wall of sand turning Riyadh the colour of orange fanta.

kewl pic man......but i wonder why in every sandstorm picture, they show ariel view of olaya n king fahad only......its time to change the photographer

i heard there was a sand storm in Dubai as well......looks like saudi is now exporting sand also

It rained too. MUDSTORM!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! made my uniform look like someone had taken a dump on it.
