No worries,
If you have already searched then you know my views on KSA.

I do. But I'll be spending my free time this next year finishing up my dissertation, so I'm not looking for quality-of-life. If I can just manage to avoid beheading, it'll pay off.

I appreciate it.

No Worries, SABIC have been one of my clients in the past, they are no worse than anyone else here.
Crashed out at my mates villa last night at Cedar Village..a very very cheap compound (60,000SAR a year for a 2 bed). Facilities are OK, and security is quite good, but no-where near the levels of Cord/Ariz/Pho/AL Hamra etc.

They have chilled out over here a bit and a few of the compounds openly have bars in them, although only open on Wed/Thurs/Fri...........apparently

Either way, im going to have a beer on the go within 10 mintues of landing back in Dubai on Wed!!

Didn't get the position (runner-up). :frown:

I've learned quite a bit though (thanks, JD), and now plan to work in the ME.

Anyone need a organizational development/process improvement-type?

Never tried that, after going to a few Embassy parties i found a guy who knew a guy who was friends with Johnnie Walker and a Mr Daniels.

Unfortunately they often turn out to be Johnnie Daniel's and Jack Walker!
