Seriously A villa is out of the question anyway, its dead money, so no point looking at villas.
No, you probably did. I'm just not paying attention, probably.

Oh, look at that...

Sensible choice on an apartment. You should easily get a decent apartment for the money you've budgeted. I wish I'd had the foresight to go in an apartment.

Of course, being an old hand at Dubai, you will know that you want to choose your place of residence carefully based on where your office is.

Have to be careful here. Knowing my luck, I'll probably end up working in some contractors office in the middle of Ajman!

About mid June ish. But trying to drag it out for as long as possible to coincide with schools finishing in the UK. I don't mind hanging around till Sept as I will be put into company accommodation for 1 month and then have the option of staying, just to make sure I get the right location.

My daughter is three on friday and we have registered her at the Regent School - good choice for both of your children. Though it only goes up to year six at present. Do a search on the internet, it is in al barsha, easy to get to etc. Rachel is starting KG 1 in september, there are a few places available. I didn't want her to start school til she was 4 but was told that all the KG 1 kids move up to KG2 and there are no places so hence she is starting sept!!! the headmistress Alison is really nice. It is only a suggestion as there alot of school but I am in apartment land and that is the closest school. Anything else just fire away!!! GA

Thanks again for this. I'm assuming though that I will not be able to apply until the kids arrive, as the schools want a photocopy of the entry stamp into the UAE. Or is it possible to register by paying the deposit?

don't wait til you get here or they won't get a place! e mail them and find out what they need from your end. You can pay a deposit and then do the passport stuff once you get here.
