Our Muslim colleagues get 2 hours off per day, 7-1.30, the rest of us work normally - Blatent Racism I'd call it!!!

- article 65 relates to ramadan hours
- article 74 is interesting (notice no days off for christmas/easter)
- article 84 is amusing!

in theory I'm 8-6 as normal but if i decided to fast then it 8-2 or 9-3, so I am thinking of skiping lunch and seeing how it goes.
Frankly i seldom get lunch anyway or if i do its about 4pm anyway so no big difference really. but a shorter day sounds good to me

Sorry, I just find this extremely offensive and blasphemious.

At worst insensitive, but extremely offensive and blasphemious ? I really don't think so.

Re: Ramadan Office Timings
ok so for some crazy reason and i dont really know why so dont ask, i fasted today, no water, food or fags until 6.05pm.
boy it was strange. no food was fine, i didnt really miss it, no water was tough, no fags was a bitch! (didnt get to sod of early either which sucked)
weird thing was i felt pissed by the end of the day, totally out of it really, i had to wait for a while till i rekoned i was fit to drive. On reflection it was a lot easier than i thought but the fact that people are driving in that state scares me even more now i know first hand just how spaced out you get
on the plus side i reckon i'll have quit smoking by the end of ramadan, thats the longest i've ever gone without smoking
Going to give it a go again tommorrow, as i say i dont really know why other than i've never done it before and its a bit of a challenge and if i can stop smoking it would be a bonus
