Spent a few days with my wife in Dubai during Ramadan at the Shereton -we spent all of the time half cut - we were so concerned that we would not be able to get a drink that we got one whenever we could, only to find that everywhere was serving drink on the quite. However take the recommendation and go to Beirut - great place -

And just to reinforce the point............... there is NO ALCOHOL available at all in Bahrain during Ramadan, not even after sunset with a meal in a restaurant. Law changed a couple of years ago.
