Spent a few days with my wife in Dubai during Ramadan at the Shereton -we spent all of the time half cut - we were so concerned that we would not be able to get a drink that we got one whenever we could, only to find that everywhere was serving drink on the quite. However take the recommendation and go to Beirut - great place -

Just left them back In Oz, bit exxy to fly back there for a couple of days ;)

Anyway, in line with your thoughts, I'm going to wait until they return, then take a trip with them all :thumbsup: what a good dad!

And just to reinforce the point............... there is NO ALCOHOL available at all in Bahrain during Ramadan, not even after sunset with a meal in a restaurant. Law changed a couple of years ago.
