Public transport Dubai to Abu Dhabi
Mrs O has a friend who doesn't drive in Dubai planning to make a visit to AD. Aside of taxis, are there any other public transport options, like a good luxury coach service?

There is a coach service about every 40 mins from the main bus station in Bur Dubai, Al Ghubaiba, that goes to the Municipality bus station in Ab Dabs.
I think you can also get a mini bus service which is faster, but costs a little more - ask at Al Ghubaiba.

I took the bus recently and have to say it wasn't that bad and only cost AED25...go for the red RTA buses, they are new and there's plenty of leg room.

yeah buses are pretty nice air conditioned etc, 25 dhs there and only 15dhs back x have fun
