Re: Potential Expat Seeking Advice
I've never had to do 25... but, Mubadala set up 7 back to back (inc. lunch so 8 really) interviews in an 8 hour day. Naturally, I suggested we just meet for a coffee at starbucks instead.
Current place was 7 over a couple of visits. Nothing like a bit of group think and arse covering.

When I first joined a major UK bank, I had been through four interviews, of which the third and fourth were different individuals asking the same questions. At the end of the fourth, I told them that, if they still weren't convinced, they should just say 'no' as I was unwilling to be interviewed any more.
I got a written offer (better than I'd been expecting) three days later.

If a firm cannot agree on you after a maximum of four meetings, they aren't worth working for.

I got sucked into the other one via a series of informal chats, coffees and 'oh you must meets'... must more informal. Millhouse style.

One of my first "proper" city roles:
-Two rounds of phone interviews
1) two MDs
2) one associate
-Four rounds in the office
Met with VPs + analysts
And finally, 7 round interview with exams for 8 hours, in the same hard chair (!!)
They gave me an offer - i told them to sod off and framed the letter !!

i think this applies to most people who are good at what they do (and possess a skill in demand), but some of us don't take every job offered (even if we accepted to come along to an interview)..
