Hi forum dwellers. Hope someone can offer some input on this.

I was a 3 year Qatar expat. I went on holiday and was not able to return to Doha due to something urgent which came up.

I sent a resignation email to my employer advising them that I was not able to come back.

I left with no outstanding loans, no vehicles in my name, no traffic violations, no open bank accounts, no issues with the police. In all respects, I was free and clear at the point I had to resign.

I now need a police clearance from Qatar.

Is there any reason that I'll be denied this, seeing as I didn't leave any debt and can't be deemed an 'absconder' as I was out of the country and submitted my resignation in writing?

Any advice appreciated.
