Just been reading this thread and Mr star and i both have cancelled visas.

We have to fly back before we can apply for the new ones.

Mr star finished his last job saturday and has started his new job today. Will this cause any complications with coming in or out of dubai again this week?:unsure:

I think you've been in Dubai longer than a year so you will have no problems at all. you will just come back into the UAE on a visit visa and then get your new visa's in AD.

I would have a problem getting a new work visa, but my new company is a Free zone company so no problems there for me. The only prolem I have is that I suspect I will have trouble getting my Passport back from my current employer!

The joy of working for Indians! Should never have taken the job and gone to work for the Maritime Insurance firm that wanted me in MH's home town !
