Default Parents medical

Hi moving soon to Dubai - finalising a decent role in Finance. Want to sponsor my parents can someone with similar experience guide or advise me if I can ask work for their medical insurance at the offer stage? Don’t need medical for little one and husband as that is covered already by his job x

Thanks Millhouse for sharing the link.

The salary and accommodation requirement is sorted, I was/ an more concerned regarding asking for my company to add medical insurance for my parents only to my benefits. They are already offering for my husband and kids but I don’t need it for them as it is already covered by my other half’s job.
You reckon it’s possible?

I think you just got to ask. I very much doubt it though as it’s totally off market and it’s probably more expensive than extending to young family. Old people have high premiums.

We don't provide for parents. Only direct dependents - partner and kids.

Quite why anyone wants their Mother or even Mother-in-Law in Dubai under their sponsorship and responsibility is totally beyond me.
