Default Ouch, i might be buggered.

Right so heres the situation, and you guys have been so helpful so far so i thought i might chuck this on here.

I'm moving on the 25th, living in JBR with a friend initially (thank god - you'll see why). Currently i contract for a Business and IT Consultancy in the UK doing Solution Sales and Recruitment for them. I was meant to be setting up an arm of their business in Dubai from march 1st, but they need to push it back a month or more (if ever). So - and here's the important bit.

Anyone know where i can get a job for a month (or more), i can turn my hand to most things.

I'm 24, 3.5 yrs solution sales, recruitment, can turn my hand to any sales, but need a job for a month, maybe two. Can anyone help before i start trawling the databases....???

To be honest im starting to worry about my company so if there is something that i really enjoy then i'd give it a go. I work blindingly hard, good education....help moi.....

Dubai Expat Connections, your help is seriously appreciated.

Why do you HAVE to move on the original date?

Can't YOU delay for a month too?

Clearly people reading the title of the thread expected something like violent gay porn....... what a let-down........

would think it's unlikely you can get a job for a month...all sorts of visa issues etc...why can't you stay in the uk, or if this company is bringing you out here, then can't they cover your costs while you move, since it's them buggering you around...?

Technically no, but if you're over here on a visit visa you can do consultancy provided you have a means of invoicing the client from your own country...

If he can find some consultancy or training contracts for a couple of weeks duration he'd be OK. But that's a big if for someone with few contacts out here....

What does that actually mean? It doesn't make grammatical sense at all.

i know...hence the reason i thought it would have been bollocks. You really dont care so i will not bore you. However in response to your question, it actually means;

I'm the MD, do what i say, i have bigger balls than you.
