Many of the Sheiks in the Emirates have their own private zoos. Some look after their animals but others do the worst things to them. An old acquaintance of mine over there had several animals he rescued from them including a beautiful tiger which had been domesticated and all its teeth and claws had been removed meaning it couldn't scratch/preen itself and had to eat liquid food.

An a slightly nicer note, I was walking along the beach very early one morning when I was 'attacked' by a chimpanzee! It pulled itself up my arm and put its arms around my neck as I stood there bewildered and wondering if I was on candid camera as there was no-one else around as far as I could see. Eventually the owner came out and they started playing on the beach together- one of the better animal owners!

Shiva, when i was nosey and scrolled right along your photos, the one of teh cars parked up in front of a big bowl with jebels in the background- we spent new years eve in there many years ago with a marquee, shisha tent, DJ, schawarma stand and catered breakfast! Good memories.

Daughter of my Mum's work friend came out to Dubai to work this September, she was picked up by her new boss from the airport and she had a tiger cub in the back. Funny that was a Range Rover as well, could be the same person??

Coooooool and as you say it could only happen in Dubai but it is still only a kitty, won't fit in there fo much longer! Hey wonder if Michael Jackson has his chimp with him!

to the best of my knowledge this is an absolutly genuine pic.

it would be a bloody brilliant fake if its not real, as the shadows and reflections are spot on and this would be a very detailed fake for no obvious reward. basically its too much effort for it to be a fake.

well i showed it to some of my mates here and they were in shock, but thought it was brilliant for Dubai as thats what they have come to expect after hearing me talk about the place....

u r right about the lighting and shadows though.... shocking!
