Online Shopping in the Middle East

Online Shopping in the Middle East
Hello all,
I would like to know what are your preferences in GCC when it comes to Online Shopping? I would like us to discuss the best websites to shop online in the Middle East and compare them with ordering, say from Amazon and have it imported here through various websites? How do you shop online? Which websites do you use? If you do no longer have a UK/US/EU address, which provider you use to order products that can only be delivered to those countries and get them delivered?
I live in Bahrain but I am assuming many online GCC-based stores in this region should deliver to all countries in the GCC. I find some of the physical stores a total rip-off when it comes to buying it from the stores compared to purchasing them online.
Thanks a million!

I use Shop & Ship for almost everything. Cosmetics from the US, clothes from the UK.

lots of websites ship direct, and deduct VAT at source. I find shipping costs (eg Amazon) can equal the VAT deduction, so still works out cheaper than inflated GCC costs.
LaLaLayla - boden.co.uk ship VAT free and for only 15 quid deliver. You're welcome.

I thought Shop and Ship would be very expensive given delivery charges. No? Or do you order less heavy items only like clothes, etc and not electrical like hard disks, mobiles, etc>

It helps if you don't use the name of the company you want to spam as your username.
