I actually stayed in the Oasis Beach Hotel - the first one in the picture. It was lovely, sadly destroyed to make way for the monstrosity that is JBR.

JBR is so 2000's. It's all about La Mer.

Did you ever go to the bar in there, British couple were the regular singers there, she was "popular".

What was that other hotel, the one that had Hard Rock Cafe (crossed guitars) adjoining it? That was a decent place - and bar - too.

Closed 2009 or so I think.
