An amazing thing happened the other day though, first time in ages I made spag bol for kids and friends, I know my kids like it but the other two kids said it was better than their mums!!!! I was so chuffed, you have to understand this doesn't happen very often....ahhh little things

Sounds like a great idea! And I wont even consider getting the caterers in! I prefer to be the hostess!

well the mother has already begun writing down "easy" recipes for me to follow and I hope that i have the time and patience to actually try some of them out.... i do know how to make milkshakes and instant food..... recently surprised everyone with one of those 15 minute, non bake cakes...... u must have seen them... went for a chocolatina i think..... the instructions were literally: "just add water"
okay.... i admit that it took half an hour to get it done.... but it was pretty good..... put some smarties on it aswell! lol
other cooking atemps have been huge mistakes...... i have even set the toaster on fire once..... 4got that the toast was still in and the toast itself burst into flames!
and during the summer i was trying to make myself some milkshake..... lets just say that kenwood mixers were not designed to blend a tray of ice cubes, half a tub of chocolate icecream, half a chocolate bar and a dash of milk! Wham, boom, explode!!!!!!!!!!!
then there was a birrov smoke from the mixer and into the bin it went! lol... wont be making any more milkshakes! hahaha
