Is the NightLife in Dubai primarily focused at Hotels?
Hello:
So, as Dubai only serves alchol at restaurants and clubs that are attached to hotels, is the nightlife scene primarily set at hotels? Does it get old that its only at hotels or it doesnt really make a difference? Is it the same crowd at these establishments? Thanks |

Re: Is the NightLife in Dubai primarily focused at Hotels?
Many of the hotels are actually large resorts complete with their own separate shopping and dining areas. Madinat Jumeirah and Souk al Bahar are two perfect examples, so there's certainly bars and restaurants with a liquor license that don't feel like they're in a hotel.
Sporting facilities can also have a liquor license, and the Aviation club is in theory a sporting facility but is more widely known for its cluster of bars and restaurants. As for hypocrisies in Dubai, too many to be listed on a single thread. |

you're not looking hard enough Timmy I'm not really looking but thing is, I been to Vista bar and Locker Room recently and when ur saying this stuff about Dubai, from where I'm sitting I dont see it. Granted you can go into York International Hotel and get the shock of your life, but this is a 'special' place I guess. When u generalise this way about hookers in bars in Dubai, I think you're wrong |

I'm in AD - full of 'em. Quite tame, really, the UK scene when you think about it. Plenty of slappers but no 'ho's...... |
