Hi guys! Long time reader, first time poster
Im about to commence final year at Coventry university, studying Business Management, and have accumilated around 2 years of work experience with HBOS plc and telemarketing with Orange. I'd really like to work in dubai as its my ambition be a business owner and working in a tax free country should speed up the saving process.
Does anyone have any advice or reccomendations for graduates seeking employment in Dubai?
Thanks in advance

I've heard through the grapevine that it is!
So moving to Dubai straight out of university is a nono? How about reccomending any other post university destinations? Its just that ive worked so many crappy 9-5 office jobs in london, so a 9-5 somewhere sunny seems a lot more appealing

The tax free bit is about the fact that while there are no income taxes, there are many others in other forms... rent is very very high as are most consumables.
you can only be 20... so I doubt you have had 'so many crappy 9-5 office jobs'. Get trained in a western culture (UK, US, some parts of Europe) and then head for the Sun. I find it impossible to believe though that expats will be found on grad schemes so you need to train at home.
When you graduate enroll on a good grad scheme you won't be working 9-5 and it should be interesting.
That said, I avoided grad schemes like the plague.

I'll look into the grad schemes, but still want to research graduate opportunities abroad. I'm a stubborn bugger
