Firstly parts of Riyadh lets say the souq down town is not a place for a single lady to be.
Depending on your job and if your employer is providing you with accomadation. Some do and some employers just give you the money after say a few weeks of living in a hotel, you are left to fend for your self.
Transport is a problem for you since you cannot drive over here so a taxi / private driver will be the order of the day.
Depending where you are working it could be your advantage to get some decent place to live close by.

Once you have settled in and have your Iquama etc then get your self on as many social lists as possible for the weekend fun and games ha ha.

You will have to wear an abya this is a long black cloak , dont worry too much about covering your head.
I know a lady who has just come over to Riyadh last week and she bought a cheap abya on ebay in the uk.
